Digitalization and Automation of Firearms Control

We transformed the oversight process for Certified Firearms User (LU) by replacing spreadsheet-based manual management with a fully integrated digital ecosystem. The platform enables inspectors to identify critical cases using intelligent criteria, automate electronic notifications, and audit compliance with firearm safety and storage regulations in real time.

Client

The RENAR (National Firearms Registry, now integrated into the ANMaC) is the government authority responsible for regulating firearm possession, carrying permits, and commercialization of controlled materials in Argentina, ensuring compliance with national security policies.

Features

We centralized oversight management into an integrated dashboard, eliminating reliance on manual SQL Server exports.

We implemented an advanced filtering engine to identify risk profiles (users with multiple firearms, frequent transactions, or licenses nearing expiration).

We automated electronic notifications through the “miRenar” portal, directly linked to miArgentina credentials.

We developed dynamic forms allowing each user to declare storage conditions, registered addresses, and the status of each firearm.

We enabled on-screen monitoring tools for inspectors, allowing them to suspend users or flag cases for manual inspection based on submitted data validity.

We designed a functional Bootstrap-based interface prioritizing data visualization through dynamic tables and clear reporting.
